The Only Cannoli Cannoli Review

In the heart of downtown Muskegon, Michigan, not far from the shores of the Great Lake (and the high-speed ferry to Milwaukee), you’ll find The Only Cannoli serving up scratch Italian pastries to the joy of this West Michigan community.
Working with traditional recipes passed down from her Italian heritage, Bethany & her crew craft a variety of cakes and cookies, but rightly so, the focus is on the cannoli.

Here you’ll find traditional as well as kooky varieties like cookie dough and one called “construction” – isn’t that what makes cannoli so great?! They describe this guy as “A smooth ricotta based cookies and cream filling, piped into a Marsala sweet wine shell. Dipped in chocolate rocks and finished with powdered sugar.” <Insert joke about it always being construction season in Michigan>

They recently featured a special Chai Cannoli, topped with brown sugar crumble on the ends – mmm, mouth-watering now just thinking about it.

If you’re in West Michigan I whole-heartedly recommend this shop for your next party dessert – their catering will definitely impress whoever you’re having over, from holiday party to wedding reception.
Tutto Cannoli Rating
–Squisito!–

Shell
Homemade the authentic way, fresh and crisp.
I liked the long, skinny shape of the shells, a little bit unique and perfectly delicious.
Filling
Filled to order, for the cannoli I chose, the ricotta was fresh and creamy smooth. Not too sweet, not too thick. Having strawberry on the regular menu is a nice touch and brings a fresh flavor to a place that needs it when it’s dark at 5 pm on a frozen January afternoon!
Toppings
Fun variety of options. Generous and tasty. The chocolate rocks on the construction cannoli might mess a bit with the creamy/flaky experience I enjoy, but super fun, so whatever!
Overall Experience
This is a great little business, unique to its area – and while the setting isn’t the draw, the cannoli are great, the coffee is delicious and the service is friendly.
Check them out and decide for yourself, you’ll be glad you stopped.
